Website consultancy, research and development:

Arete shall perform extensive research and submit a
presentation on various options that can be made available on the website for
achieving the objectives of client as listed.

Information Collection :
|
|
Arete shall collect and collate the information from
various Departments through one point of contact. The information would mostly
be in soft format (Doc, PDF, GIF etc) form, and some in manual format. The
indicative list of information is as under
- Department
information that needs to be displayed on the web site
- Press releases
- Monthly/ Quarterly/ Yearly progress reports
- Pamphlets, flyers on development plans,
schemes
- Rules, procedures & Acts etc

Digitization of collected Information:
|
|
The information and forms collected from
various divisions shall be converted into appropriate and desired
electronic format as indicated below, when ever required:
- PDF/ DOC
- HTML, PDF, DOC
- HTML, Flash, PDF, DOC
- SQL, MS-Access
|

Uploading of information on servers:
|
|
Arete shall get the information approved from
concerned Division heads through a single point of contact and after
approval upload the information onto designated servers with proper hyper
links to provide full proof navigation to the users through web enabled
platform. Each set of information content must be self-contained and must
conform to pre-decided nomenclature in file naming scheme
|

Collection of feedback:
|
|
Arete shall post feedback forms wherever
relevant to collect feedback from citizens to ascertain the relevancy and
usefulness of the information being hosted on the web site.

Software
|
|
|
Project Initiation
|
|
We
develop the functional and technical architecture of the system, in context of
achieving the high level of
integration and security. This includes initiating first time
interaction with the customer and establishing a base for future discussions
and project scope review
|
|
Requirement Analysis
|
|
The phase involves evaluating the scope of work and functional specifications of
the project, holding discussions on level-1 functional issues, preparation of
proposal and signing off after accepting on a mutually agreed proposal or
customer requirement document.

|
Design
|
|
The phase involves
designing of the database, developing the system interfaces based on the project
plan.
|
|
Development and Code
Test
|
|
The
development and coding of respective modules is carried out in this phase.
Functional code test is performed during the development phase to check the
consistency of the functionality in accordance with the project specifications.
The customer is involved in weekly test schedules and weekly progress reports
of the progress are also provided.

|
Quality Test and Release
|
|
Once the development and coding is over, the customer performs
rigorous testing for functional and technical issues. Any bugs arising are
solved and the project is accepted for release.

Implementation
|
|
The project is made live
for production on the desired environment and tested for any showstopper issues
arising out of platform issues
|
|
Post Implementation Support
|
|
Depending on the project
agreement, the customer can avail of post implementation support for a desired
duration. Usually Arete provides 40 hours of free technical support to cover
any issues arising out of the project owing to bugs. However, Dynamic Web
provides a maintenance contract to customers who wish to avail our services
post implementation. The nature of technical support is flexible depending on
customer requirement.
